Hi Adam Gäfvert, Art Director at King. Congratulations to the Golden Egg in the category “Longer films” for your client Cancerfonden. We start with the ”simple” question. How do you do to win a Golden Egg?
Det finns ingen enkel formel för hur man vinner. Lägg fokus på att lösa briefen med en stark idé och våga genomföra den till fullo genom hela processen. Det kan resultera i guldägg. Så har det i alla fall varit för mig. Lägger man fokuset på att göra något som ska resultera i guldägg tenderar det aldrig bli genuint bra, enligt mig.
(There is no simple formula for how to win. Focus on solving the brief with a strong idea and dare to implement it fully throughout the process. It might result in golden eggs. At least that’s how it has been for me. If you focus on doing something that will result in golden eggs, it never tends to be genuinely good, in my opinion.)
Vilka är dina främsta inspirationskällor? (What are your main sources of inspiration?)
Jag älskar YouTube. Kanaler som Vice, Vox, The Economist, Wired, Biographics m.fl. ger en bra bildning. Sen kreativ inspiration går att hitta varsomhelst. Det är bara att hålla ögonen öppna. På Bokbörsen och IRL-antikvariat finns det mycket guld.
(I love YouTube. Channels like Vice, Vox, The Economist, Wired, Biographics and others gives a good insight and inspiration. Then creative inspiration can be found anywhere. Just keep your eyes open. There are a lot of nice finds on the online Book Exchange and IRL antique shop.)
Vilket varumärke skulle du kunna tatuera in? Varför?
(Which brand could you tattoo? Why?)
Jag har inga tatueringar så det känns dubbelt jobbigt att genomföra något sådant. Systembolaget då kanske? Så får de monopol på att vara tatuerade på min kropp. Så slipper jag göra fler.
(I have no tattoos so it feels doubly hard to do something like that. Systembolaget, Swedish alcohol monopoly, then perhaps? So they get a monopoly on being tattooed on my body. That way I do not have to do more.)
