Acceptable Use Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective date 20 October 2026

Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes conduct that is not permitted on Framme Shop and in connection with Framme's services. It applies to anyone who uses Framme Shop: subscription customers and their Users, end-users of any Shop operated by a customer, and businesses ordering under the Framme Shop Terms.

In this AUP, "you" means anyone using Framme Shop — for subscription customers, the Customer together with its Users and Shop Users; for others, the person or business using the Service.

For subscription customers, this AUP is incorporated into the Framme Shop Subscription Agreement and the Service Terms. The version in effect on the Effective Date of the Agreement applies; changes are notified under Section 11 of the Agreement. For other users, the version published at framme.com/aup at the time of use applies.

Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Framme Shop Service Agreement or the Framme Shop Terms, as applicable.

1. Prohibited uses

You will not use Framme Shop to:

1.1 Unlawful, infringing or harmful content

  • upload, transmit, sell or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, defamatory, threatening, obscene, exploitative, or that violates another person's intellectual-property, privacy or other rights;
  • offer for sale items whose sale is restricted or prohibited in the buyer's jurisdiction (regulated goods, age-restricted goods without age verification, counterfeit goods);
  • upload materials containing malware or designed to exploit a vulnerability in Framme Shop or any third-party system.

1.2 Security and abuse

  • attempt to access another customer's data, accounts or environments;
  • circumvent or disable any access control, rate limit, payment-method restriction, fraud-detection or abuse-prevention measure;
  • run vulnerability scans, penetration tests, denial-of-service tests or other security testing of Framme Shop without Framme's prior written permission — responsible disclosure is welcome at support@framme.com, and formal audits under the Service Agreement are exempt;
  • impersonate any person or entity, including Framme staff, another customer or another User;
  • harvest, scrape or collect personal data of other Users or Shop Users.

1.3 Special-category data

  • process special categories of personal data (GDPR Article 9) or criminal-conviction data (Article 10) through Framme Shop without Framme's prior written authorisation and, where required, additional contractual safeguards.
  • publish Magic Link tokens on a publicly indexed page, social network or other unrestricted forum when the link is intended for a specific recipient;
  • distribute reusable Magic Links beyond their intended audience;
  • generate, sell or distribute Magic Links you are not authorised to issue;
  • enumerate, brute-force or guess invitation tokens.

1.5 Platform integrity

  • use bots, scrapers or crawlers to access Framme Shop, other than major search engines indexing public marketing pages;
  • send spam, phishing or other unsolicited communications through Framme Shop;
  • use Framme Shop for cryptocurrency mining, token sales or any blockchain workload outside an ordinary commerce flow;
  • impose an unreasonable or disproportionate load on Framme's or a sub-processor's infrastructure;
  • use Framme Shop for any purpose restricted by Framme's payment or logistics partners, including anything on Stripe's restricted-business list.

1.6 Fraud and financial crime

  • place or solicit fraudulent orders;
  • engage in card-testing, chargeback abuse, refund abuse or other payment fraud;
  • use Framme Shop to launder proceeds of crime or to evade sanctions.

1.7 Sanctions

You will not use Framme Shop to sell to, or deliver to, persons or entities subject to comprehensive EU, UK, US or UN sanctions, or to sanctioned territories. Framme may block such transactions without liability.

1.8 Fair use

  • exceed reasonable fair-use limits — for example, sustained server-side request rates above Framme's published rate limits, or uploading materially larger volumes of materials than your plan contemplates.

2. Responsibility for Users

Subscription customers are responsible for the acts and omissions of their Users and Shop Users under this AUP. A breach by a User is treated as a breach by the customer.

3. Enforcement

3.1 If Framme becomes aware of an actual or suspected breach, Framme may, in proportion to the breach:

  • ask you to stop or to explain the activity;
  • restrict, suspend or revoke a single User, Magic Link, campaign or Shop;
  • block access from a specific IP address, range, device or User;
  • remove or refuse to fulfil specific orders;
  • in extreme cases — an active attack, a regulator order, a credible threat to other customers — suspend access to the whole service.

3.2 Framme will use commercially reasonable efforts to give prior notice of suspension and to limit it to what is necessary. For subscription customers, Sections 4.5, 9 and 17.2 of the Service Agreement govern the interaction between AUP enforcement, credential suspension and termination.

4. Reporting abuse

Report content or behaviour you believe breaches this AUP to support@framme.com with the subject AUP report, including a link or description, why you believe it is a breach, and — if you are reporting infringement of your own rights — enough information to identify those rights.

Reports of illegal content from users in the EU, sent with the subject AUP report — illegal content, are handled as notices under the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065).

5. Changes

Framme may update this AUP to address new abuse patterns, regulatory requirements or product capabilities. Material changes are notified to subscription customers under Section 11 of the Service Agreement and published at framme.com/aup for everyone else.
